Our Breeder history:
Stacy is a Canine Behavior Consultant who works with Canine Behavior Problems, well versed in Canine
decade.
All of Golden Beauties breeding stock live indoors, and have litters inside as well.  All breeding stock are
fed premium dog food; Canidae and Royal canin.

Regarding Doodle Health:
Doodles have been shown to be very loyal, kind, and intelligent dogs, great for therapy work as well as
mostly non-shedding and hypoallergenic.  We have also been told by Veterinarians that doodles tend to be
healthier than your average pure bred dog... Hybrid Vigor!
All our Sire's and Dam's are health checked prior to breeding, PennHIP, OFA, PRA, VonWillebrands
and CERF.   Dogs have DNA profiles as well which can prove parentage if needed.  There is no question
of the integrity of these breeding practices!  We also insist that you bring your dog back to us if you have a
situation where you are unable to harbor your pet any longer.  Our devotion to dogs is immense and we
are dedicated to the welfare of all our pups.

Studding?:
*** In order to maintain high standards we rarely stud our dogs, in order to utilize one of our dogs for a
stud you must: be a member of GANA/preferred breeders list/or upon approval based on our stringent
guidelines. Thank you. This also applies to the sale of our puppies for future breeding.
*We reserve the right to choose 1st choice of a breeding dog/bitch from all our litters

Tidbits and Caveats:
Whelping Process Tidbits:
We begin taking the bitch's temperature from ~ day 56-58; which will give us a baseline for her
temperature during pregnancy. When the temperature drops to between 96-98 we remain with her
because typically within 24-48 hours whelping will occur.

During whelping we remain with our bitch and assist her with the process. Assisting meaning we help her
break the sacs surrounding the puppies, we clean and dry puppies (when need be), we move puppies away
when she begins another contraction to push out a puppy... We often cut the umbilical cords on newborns
as well depending on how tired the mother is.

We remain with them for the duration of the whelping and rarely even leave for a bathroom break.
Whelping can be stressful and our we ease the stress by being there as a comfort and a helper to our girls.

A bit about Goldendoodles:
The Goldendoodle is much like a Golden Retriever but does not shed like a Golden and can be bred to be smaller
than a Golden Retriever. Goldendoodles are also very intelligent because they are half a Golden and Half a Poodle (a
very sharp dog). They typically have wavy coats that can range from cream white to black depending on the
breeding pair. We typically have cream to apricot colored puppies from F1 generation and our F1b's are typically
black and tan.

Looking into our home:
We harbor all our breeding dogs and puppies inside our home, we have a lot of work with 10 dogs in our home but
we keep everything spotless. Our dogs are bathed, groomed and given routine health care which is maintained
regularly both by Stacy as well as our Vet. Stacy has undergone course work in both canine behavior management
as well as veterinary assisting.

Our Golden Girls are often found sleeping on the couch and lounging on chairs; they are part of the family. We
treat our dogs like they are children, they eat with us, they lounge with us, they even like to watch TV with us. We
have happy, healthy dogs and puppies that are our pets for life. We have never sold/given away a retired breeding
dog ; they are our pets, we have provided our family members with retired breeding dogs so that we can still be a
part of their lives.

All dogs and puppies are fed Canidae dog food. Our dogs also are allowed snacks periodically. We free feed our
Girls and our Males are fed 2X/day. We supplement with
NuVet vitamins .

Taking a look into our breeding practice:
We conduct OFA Hip evaluations on all our adult breeding stock; the OFA test includes results for hips and elbows
and on mini goldendoodles it also includes patellas. We test CERF eye exams on all our adult breeding stock once a
year (typically falls in January); the CREF test evaluates whether the dog has any genetic eye conditions that they
could pass on to the offspring. Most all our adults are PennHIP tested which is a Hip test similar to OFA. In our
Goldens and Goldendoodles we test their hearts through a Cardiologist to determine if there are any potential
genetic heart defects that they could be carrying, this is an OFA test as well. In our Poodles and Goldendoodles we
test their DNA for PRA and vWd; these are common genetic Poodle ailments.
We offer a 3 year health guarantee because we are confident that our puppies will not have any of these ailments.
Please view our Beauties page for a list of the test results from the above listed tests. And view our Guarantee page
to see our contract and other pertinent documents.
