| Testing For Active Breeding Stock: Poodles: OFA hip; ofa elbow; cerf eye; pennhip; pra-dna test; vwd-dna test Goldens: OFA heart; OFA hip; ofa elbow; cerf eye; pennhip; pra-dna test; Health Testing Procedure: Testing begins with preliminary hip tests, PennHIP tests, DNA profiling, OFA Cardiac and CERF eye exams all completed before 2 years of age, typically at 1 year thereafter we get an idea of whom we are going to breed the dog/bitch with based on the results. We Re-test the OFA after 2 years of age and test the CERF every year. All puppies are Vet checked by a licensed by NYS Vet. Puppies receive first shots and de-worming given by us. All puppies come with appropriate per breed registration papers which show their pedigree. (We have all puppies registered with GANA & The CKC.) We feed our dogs Canidae dog feed; We compliment the food with NuVet vitamins which contain vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. | Please know that our "Kennel" is a home; we live here with our dogs so if you are seeking a visit to pick out your puppy you can do so upon appointment only; please SERIOUS inquiries only and remember it is our home not an open kennel. We keep our home very well maintained; it is indeed quite a job with the dogs but we manage quite well. You are always welcome to contact our state inspector who visits annually on a random date. We can also give you references as well if you like. |
